Fishing in Costa Rica is excellent all year long. We specialize in offshore bill fishing such as Marlin (Blue, Black, Stripe) Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo. We fish the Flamingo, Tamarindo, Conchal, and Potrero regions year round.
Fishing will vary with prevailing conditions, but here’s how it generally runs for the more popular species. Look for winds north of Cabo Vela from about December into mid-May. On the Pacific, it’s common to release several Sailfish and even a Marlin or two in a single day. There are also Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Roosterfish, a variety of Snapper, Grouper, Rainbow Runners, Mackerel and much more.

The WETASS II is a 31-foot Bertram Sport Fisher with twin 370 Cummins immaculately outfitted with a full line of Penn and Shimano equipment. The WETASS II has a comfortable cabin and space for five anglers.
